Over several weeks we have seen far-right extremism and organised political violence across the country. At the same time, we have seen an alarming increase of racist ideology promoted on social media in the Forest of Dean. This should be called out for what it is - fascism.
The Forest of Dean Green Party stands with all those in the Forest that have been and are still experiencing racism in all its forms.
There is no place for racism in our communities. We support and will continue to strengthen our relationships with the organisations, leaders and individuals who are working to bring our communities together in the face of attempts to inflame division.
