My Story
Andy´s professional background is in domestic and community recycling, waste reduction and campaigning.
He´s recently been helping devise the new district collection system, to start in 2024. He picked up his first bundle of old newspaper for recycling for Friends of the Earth in 1978, little suspecting that it would turn into a career.
He holds a UWE sociology MSc in Ecology and Society.
He´s standing for election in Newnham ward along with fellow green Richard Burton.
Already an experienced district councillor, until this upcoming election he´s been member for Pillowell. He did a stint with Blakeney/Pillowell Schools as chair of governors and has been a member of West Dean Parish Council for several years.
He first lived in the Forest in 1993 and currently resides in Parkend.
He gets around by bike whenever and wherever possible.
